Courage Center continues with on-site suspension of services

Lexington, SC - 02/22/2021 (Paul Kirby) - The Courage Center will continue suspension of all on-site activities at its 860 Park Road campus until Saturday, February 27, after an employee tested positive for COVID-19 on February 11.

Regularly scheduled participant meetings and program sessions will continue to be held virtually. A full meeting and program schedule with links to participate virtually can be found at www.couragecentersc.org.

“Although The Courage Center was professionally disinfected and sanitized last week while the facilities were shuttered, to ensure the safety and well-being of our participants, volunteers, visitors, and staff we feel it’s best to continue offering services virtually for one more week,” said Executive Director Adrienne Bellinger.

The Courage Center will reopen at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 27, to hold its Community Workday outdoors. If you are interested in volunteering to help spruce up our campus for the Spring, sign up at The Courage Center: 2021 Community Workday with The Courage Center (signupgenius.com). All health and safety protocols will continue to be followed.

The Courage Center employees must test negative for COVID-19, and have no symptoms, before returning to work on-site.
