Edmund, SC – 04/13/2021 (Paul Kirby) – Lexington County sheriff’s investigators are looking into how a man who was shot ended up at a home in the 100 block of Crystal Springs Drive early Tuesday morning. According to a spokesman for Sheriff Koon, a man was found on the porch of a home there with a gunshot wound about 2:00 a.m.

Captain Adam Myrick said that deputies were summoned to the home after receiving a report that the man was shot. He was transported by Lexington EMS to a local medical facility where his medical team has said that his wound is not life-threatening.

Just before 6:00 a.m., a number of deputies were still on scene and a vehicle was towed from the yard of the home as a part of the investigation. Captain Myrick said that their work on this case continues.
