Lake Murray, SC 05/06/2024 - Join in the angling fun at the family-friendly FREE* Bassmaster Elite Community Expo, May 11-12 from 12-5 PM at Dreher Island State Park. Enjoy booths/exhibits from The Gamecock Bass Fishing Team, Realtor-Cat Thornton, Lews/Strike King fishing simulator, South Carolina Wildlife Federation (Saturday only), Armed Forces Fishing League (AFFL), and many more. Come hungry for Big Boys BBQ, Cinnamon Hill Kitchen, and Sarah's Rockin’ Kitchen food trucks. Exhibits from B.A.S.S. sponsors include the Toyota Experience, Minn Kota/Humminbird, Dakota Lithium, Power Pole, Ranger Boats, Yamaha, Daiwa, and Garmin.

Don’t miss the FREE Bassmaster Elite Series Concert with singer-songwriter from Ridge Spring local, Cody Webb! Cody Webb has enchanted audiences nationwide with his heartfelt lyrics, soulful vocals, and exceptional guitar skills. His breakout moment came with the inclusion of his co-written song "Memories Are Made Of" on Luke Combs' debut album in 2018, launching his career into the spotlight. Drawing inspiration from southern rock legends, Cody's musical journey began at a young age and led him to Nashville, where he found management with Bow To Stern Group. Cody has performed on prestigious stages like the 2019 NFL Draft intro and more.

The Minn Kota Bassmaster Elite Series on Lake Murray kicks off on Thursday, May 9 with the competition continuing through Sunday, May 12. The public is permitted to observe boat launches in the mornings and weigh-ins in the afternoons at Dreher Island State Park. Since the start of 2023, more than 10.4 million viewers have watched Bassmaster coverage on the FOX networks and, once again, fans this year can catch all nine Bassmaster Elite Series events as well as Bassmaster Classic live television coverage on the FOX Sports platforms.
