Red Bank, SC – 04/26/2021 (Paul Kirby) – A mobile home that had reportedly been damaged in a previous incident caught fire and burned down Sunday night. The fire occurred at approximately 7:30 p.m. at Kittie Drive and Platt Springs Road in the Red Bank community of Lexington County.

Firefighters from across the area rushed to the scene only to find that approximately half of the home was engulfed in flames. The first crews pulled a hose from a fire engine and began dousing the fire from the outside with their streams.

A water supply was established so that the teams would have all the water they needed to put the fire out. In a short time, the fire was brought under control.

Lexington County has not released the cause of the fire. They also have not said if anyone was injured as a result of the blaze.
