Gaston, SC (05/10/2021 Paul Kirby) – The Gaston Police Department is sponsoring a Blood Drive on Thursday, May 13, 2021. It will be held at the Police Department at 186 North Carlisle Street in Gaston, SC.

The Blood Drive will begin at 10:00 a.m. and continue until noon. This is being done through a cooperative effort with The Blood Connection. As a way of saying thanks, all donors will receive a $20.00 gift card.

People who have had and beat the COVID 19 virus can and are encouraged to give. The antibodies in their blood can be used to help people who get the virus now or in the future fight and survive it. You can also give if you’ve had coronavirus vaccine.

To get registered to give blood, go to The Blood Connection’s website and use the Sponsor Code feature. Simply search 2855 to begin the registration procedure and get on the schedule.
