Batesburg-Leesville, SC (Paul Kirby) - Applications are currently being accepted for the 2020-2021 school year GLEAMNS Head Start program in the Batesburg-Leesville area of Lexington County. Head Start is a program to serve infants and toddlers under the age of three and pregnant women.
Since 1994, the Early Head Start program has provided early, continuous, intensive, and comprehensive child development and family support services to low-income infants and toddlers as well as pregnant women and their families. By implementing the program’s core principles, participants are able to get a “Head Start” in living a better, more productive, and happy life. To be eligible for Head Start, children must be 3 years old on or before September 1, 2020. In order for applications to be processed, we will need your child's birth certificate or other official proof of child's age; proof of your family income from the previous 12 months (2019 income tax form 1040, 2019 W-2, recent check stubs, etc). Applications will be accepted regardless of race, sex, creed, nationality, immigration status, or disability.
