West Columbia, SC 02/01/2021 - The Greater Cayce West Columbia Chamber & Visitor’s Center is now the Greater CWC Chamber & Visitor Program. With a fresh look and a solidified brand, Chamber leaders say they are excited to see the momentum that the new program has already garnered. The new look was released to the Chamber membership at their monthly breakfast meeting on January 26.
Both the City of Cayce and the City of West Columbia appointed local business leaders to the Chamber Community Rebrand Committee. The project manager was Ashley Hunter, CEO of MPA Strategies, and the Graphic Designer was Joe Long, head of Black Barn Brand Designs.
The appointed Community Rebrand Committee members were Kathy Whetzel of Whetzel Automotive, Anastasia Manos of Zesto’s, Ashley Lambert with Steel Hands Brewing, Allison Brumfield of Lexington District 4, Michael Mayo with Palmetto Outdoor, Chris Kueny with Substation II and Phil Blair with WECO Bottle and Biergarten.
Project Manager, Ashley Hunter, stated, “It speaks volumes that there was no need to look outside of our own Chamber members to procure all of the collateral items for the complete rebrand and to provide an array of new member services that focused both on keeping the cost of doing business low for Chamber businesses and bringing new visitors to the area.”
Greater CWC Board Chairman, Hayley Bowers of M.B. Kahn, stated, “This project will continue to boost the local economy, and we are thankful for everyone who played a role in making it happen."
