Interested in learning about our EMS Explorer Program

Lexington, SC 08/13/2024 - Interested in learning about our EMS Explorer Program? Well, you won't want to miss this.

Lexington County EMS is hosting an Explorer Post interest meeting on Monday, Aug. 19 at 6 p.m. for any current members and anyone who is interested in joining.

The LCEMS Explorer Program is a career-oriented program that meets twice a month at the EMS Operations Center. During meetings, Explorers learn about various medical and trauma emergencies, ambulance operations, leadership and teamwork skills, among many other EMS-related topics.

The Explorer Program is open to students between 14-18 years old and enrolled in a school in one of the five Lexington County school districts.

Those that are homeschooled and fall into the above-listed age ranges are allowed to participate as well.
