Irmo, SC 01/10/2024 (Paul Kirby) – Firefighters from the Irmo Fire District responded to an apartment fire this morning on Paisley Lane. When they arrived, they had heavy fire showing.
Other crews from the Lexington County Fire Service, the Columbia Fire Department, and the West Columbia Fire Department began arriving to assist. The combined crews quickly brought the fire under control.
The building suffered substantial damage and several units were destroyed, however there were no injuries. The cause is currently under investigation.
