Irmo police want to know if anyone can identify a suspect in a business burglary

Irmo, SC (Paul Kirby) - Investigators with the Irmo Police Department are trying to identify a man they say committed a burglary at a business in the town. They believe that citizens may be their best resource to locate this guy.

Investigators say that the man broke into the 7-11 convenience store with attached Burger King in the 7700 block of Broad River Road. This occurred around 3:30 a.m. on October 29th of this year. Surveillance video caught the man's face however he is wearing a mask that prevents you from seeing him clearly.

The man is obviously black. He is wearing a black Abercrombie & Fitch hoodie with a bandana or some other head covering low on his forehead. He has on either a black PPE mask or a neck gator like the ones currently being used to prevent the spread of germs and disease.

Police say the man broke out a window to enter the restaurant portion of the business. He then transitioned to the 7-11 side and stole some items. Afterward, he fled out the back of the store and ran towards the Friarsgate subdivision.
