Lake Murray, SC 01/14/2022 – During these cold weather days, boaters can be comfortable, safe and warm while learning boating safety taught by Coast Guard Auxiliary instructors. They are making a free virtual boater education course available on-line!
The Lake Murray Coast Guard Auxiliary is offering this free boating safety course, Boat America, for anyone who wants to learn about the fundamentals of safe and responsible boating. Coast Guard Auxiliary instructors will teach the on-line course using Zoom over three consecutive evenings on February 15, 16 and 17 from 6:30 to 8:30 pm.
Students who complete the entire course and pass the exam will earn the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources Boater Education card.
