Lake Murray Country bring the Southeastern BBQ Showdown next weekend

Lake Murray, SC 04/17/2025 - Get ready to fire up your appetite and mark your calendars—the Southeastern BBQ Showdown is returning to Columbia, South Carolina on April 24–25, 2026, at a new location–Gamecock Park! Hosted by the Capital City/Lake Murray Country Regional Tourism Board, this signature two-day event promises an unforgettable experience filled with award-winning barbecue, live music, and Southern hospitality, all set against the vibrant backdrop of the University of South Carolina’s Williams Brice Stadium at Gamecock Park.

Following the resounding success of the inaugural event in 2024, which garnered national attention and a two-part TV series that aired on the FanDuel Sports Network (formerly Bally Sports), and a forthcoming feature on the Cooking Channel on April 19 (Part 1) and 26 (Part 2), 2025 at 7 p.m. EST. Fans are encouraged to tune in to watch a tantalizing preview of the mouthwatering BBQ competition and thrilling experiences planned for 2026.
