Law enforcement agencies join Serve & Connect for the 5th Annual Bountiful Harvest 2022

Lexington, SC 11/15/2022 (Paul Kirby) – On Tuesday, November 22, 2022, the Lexington Police Department, the Lexington County Sheriff’s Department, and law the enforcement affiliated community service organization Serve & Connect will hold the 5th Annual Bountiful Harvest 2022. Bountiful Harvest is a community feeding and support event that is held annually during the week of Thanksgiving for anyone in need of food or other help.
According to the Facebook Group Bountiful Harvest 2022, they will provide holiday-themed Greg's Groceries food boxes. There will also be a community resource fair, and a hot sit-down meal will be offered for all who attend.
The Town of Lexington Police Department, which normally host this event with Serve & Connect, is excited to expand this year's event by welcoming co-sponsor the Lexington County Sheriff's Department, and other partnering agencies the Cayce Police Department, and the West Columbia Police Department. They are also receiving support from Si Se Puede and Uplift Lexington County.
This year’s event begins next Tuesday at noon and continues until 4:00 p.m. It is being held Lexington’s Icehouse Amphitheater which is located at 107 West Main Street near the Lexington Town Hall.
