Pelion, SC 08/02/2024 - Lexington based The Jeffcoat Firm Injury and Car Accident Lawyers recently donate 80 backpacks to support schoolchildren in Lexington County through their Project Backpack initiative. Project Backpack provides essential school supplies to students in need.
Team members of Jeffcoat delivered the backpacks to Pelion Elementary. The backpacks, filled with essential school supplies, will support Pelion Elementary’s 4K Program.
Through Project Backpack, The Jeffcoat Firm aims to make a positive impact on the community by ensuring children have the necessary tools for a successful school year. Jeffcoat is dedicated to supporting the community, and their team will distribute 1000 backpacks to kids ages Pre-K through 8th grade in Richland, Lexington, Calhoun, Newberry, Beaufort, Charleston, and Orangeburg counties.
Michael Jeffcoat, the owner of the Jeffcoat Firm, grew up learning how to give back to the community through selfless service to others. His late mother Pat was well-known for her green thumb and worked on beautification projects in and around Lexington. She also gave back through many worthwhile causes and charities prior to her battle with a long illness that ultimately took her life.
Michael's father served on Lexington County Council where he worked to do the most good he could for the people of this county. Even after leaving county government, he continued to keep busy working with projects that improved the lives of the citizens of Lexington County.
The Jeffcoat Firm has locations in Lexington, Columbia, and Orangeburg. The Lexington location can be found at 5465 Sunset Blvd Suite B, Lexington, SC 29072.
This kind of community involvement is essential, especially during times when families might be struggling. Providing these children with the necessary supplies ensures they start the school year on the right foot. I've seen similar efforts in other communities, like Halvorsen Klote, where law firms go beyond legal representation to make a real difference in people's lives. It's a reminder that as professionals, there's always an opportunity to give back and positively impact those around us.
