Lexington, SC - 05/07/2021 (Paul Kirby) – This year, the Lexington County Blowfish have designated their season's theme to promoting Lexington County, its cities, and towns. To do that, the team has ordered special jerseys that bears the name of every city or town in Lexington County!
The new player jerseys will be worn throughout the season starting with Opening Night on Wednesday May 26th thru the final night of the regular season’s game on Saturday July 31st.
Throughout the season, fans will have the opportunity to bid on these jerseys. The bidding starts with the home opener and continues until fan appreciation night. At that point, the highest bidder will receive their jersey.
Proceeds of the jersey auction will benefit a charitable cause selected by each Lexington County town or city’s mayor and other city officials.
In keeping with that theme, each Lexington County city and town will have the opportunity to have their own Town Appreciation Night during a Blowfish game this season. This season's player jerseys are presented in part by Carolina Comfort Heating and Air and Lexington County Farm Bureau.
