Lexington, SC (Paul Kirby) - Lexington County’s 4-H leaders and participants took an opportunity recently to wish everyone a happy holiday season. They did this as they sent an updated schedule sharing information about all the exciting virtual events that are coming up to kick off this season of joy with everyone!
According to Erika Hwang, Lexington County’s 4-H and youth development agent with the
Clemson Cooperative Extension, along with their regular 4-H club meetings, they will be having a Christmas Cookie Party on December 16th at 6:00 p.m. Hwang said you do not have to be a current 4-H member to participate however, they recommend that all young people be supervised by an adult when using kitchen utensils.
This is the updated schedule:

Hwang also said that 4-H currently has several horse clubs, a livestock club, and a cooking club that are meeting virtually. To join 4-H, kids and teens must be between the ages of 8 and 18 years old. You can email the 4-H agent, Erika Hwang, at erikaj@clemson.edu to sign up for the Christmas party or to inquire about Lexington County 4-H programs.
