Lexington County investigators asking for help locating an armed robbery and kidnapping suspect

Lexington, SC 04/12/2022 (Paul Kirby) – Lexington County Sheriff’s Department personnel are on the hunt for a man they believe committed the crime of armed robbery and kidnapping. The investigators say this crime occurred on February 9, 2022, off Seleta Circle between Pelion and Gilbert.

Justin Allen Penzes already has a substantial criminal record. He has served time for armed robbery in the past and deputies say he also used an ad on Craigslist to steal from someone else in the Pond Branch Road area of Lexington County. At the time that he committed this latest crime, he was out on bond on a domestic violence charge.
