Lexington County man sentenced to 30 years for murder possession of a weapon during violent crime

Lexington, SC 09/10/2023 - According to prosecutors, Patterson shot and killed William Clark, 38, after a dispute over money and a gambling game. The crime occurred at a house on S. Hampton Avenue in the Red Bank area of Lexington County. The Lexington County Sheriff’s Department investigated the case.

Assistant Deputy Attorney General Kinli Abee and Assistant Attorney General Joel Kozak prosecuted the case for the state, with the assistance of Investigator Matt Ellis, paralegals
