Lexington, SC 05/24/2022 - Dive into Oceans of Possibilities at your local library. The annual Summer Reading Program is here, and readers of all ages are encouraged to participate. Summer reading helps build literacy and language skills, prevents the dreaded summer slide for school-aged children, allows teens and adults to experience the joy of reading and so much more.
Beginning June 1, visit your local branch or lexcolibrary.com/summerreading to register. Earn prizes by completing activities and tracking your progress by August 7. The last day to pick up prizes is August 31. To really celebrate your summer reading adventure, grab your family and friends and head to one of our many kickoff parties. All ten of our locations will be hosting one. Check out the program calendar on our website for dates, times, locations and detailed information.

Adults get to learn about Asian culture with Lin Ko, embark on an illustrated journey with Tom Poland and much more.
