Lexington County School District One announces the hiring of new assistant principal for White Knoll Elementary

Lexington, SC 05/05/2025 - Lexington County School District One proudly announces that, effective July 1, 2025, Bridget A. Allison will serve as the new principal of White Knoll Elementary. The Board of Trustees approved this personnel recommendation during its April 29, 2025, business meeting.

With 17 years of experience in public education, Ms. Allison brings a deep commitment to student growth and a strong record of instructional leadership. She currently serves as an assistant principal at Hyatt Park Elementary, a Title I school in Richland School District One.

Ms. Allison has spent the last decade helping educators refine their practice — first as a literacy instructional coach and now as a school administrator. Her expertise in data-driven instruction and student-centered support systems has made a tangible difference in the schools she’s served.

Ms. Allison holds a Master of Education in educational leadership from the American College of Education and a Bachelor of Science in elementary education from South Carolina State University. Her certification areas include elementary principal, early childhood and elementary education, and she holds endorsements in literacy coaching and gifted and talented education.
