White Knoll/Red Bank, SC 05/09/2022 (Paul Kirby) – Investigators with the Lexington County Sheriff’s Department are working to determine what led up to a shooting that occurred in the 100 block of Brevard Parkway at the Fern Hall Apartment Complex Sunday afternoon. This is just below White Knoll High School’s stadium and students’ parking area.
According to a spokesman for the Department, this shooting took place in an outdoor commons area of the complex sometime before 7:30 p.m. on Mothers’ Day. First responders from Lexington County’s Fire and EMS services responded to the scene to treat the individual who had been shot. They transported that person to a local medical facility with what was described as a non-life-threatening injury to the upper body.
Investigators from the LCSD spent a great deal of time on the scene after the incident collecting evidence and interviewing residents of the complex.
