Lexington County Sheriff’s Department investigating shooting on St. Andrews Road last week

St. Andrews, SC 08/29/2022 (Paul Kirby) – The Lexington County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a shooting that occurred late last week in the St. Andrews area. According to Captain Adam Myrick, spokesman for Sheriff Koon, the shooting took place in the 300 block of St. Andrews Road near its intersection with Bush River Road.

Myrick said that one person was shot in the upper body during this incident. The victim survived the shooting and is being treated for their wounds. He did not give any further details other than to say that their work on this case continues.
