Lexington County still has opportunities to cast your ballot early
Lexington, SC (Paul Kirby) - There are still some opportunities to cast your ballot before the November 3rd general election across Lexington County. Voting early may prevent you from having to wait in long lines as voter turnout is expected to be exceptionally high on November 3rd due to the number of important races that are on the ballot.
You can continue to cast your ballot at the Voter Registration and Election Office located at 605 West Main Street, Suite C in Lexington through October the 28th. This is behind the Cookout and the Lizard’s Thicket restaurants. The office will be open until 6:30 p.m. each evening. You can also cast your ballot there on Saturday, October 31st from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
An early voting location is also available at the Chapin Town Hall which is located at 157 Columbia Avenue in Chapin. The last day It will be available is today, Monday, October 26th, from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
Voters can also cast their ballot at the West Columbia Community Center beginning Tuesday, October the 27th and continue through Friday, October the 29th. Those polls will be open from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. That is located at 754 B Avenue in West Columbia.
If you're unsure where you should vote on November 3rd which is general election day, the Lexington County Voter Registration and Election Office has a Where to Vote feature on their website.
