Lexington District Three names each school's Teachers of the Year for 2022/2023 year

Batesburg-Leesville, SC 05/26/2022 - Lexington County School District Three recently announced its new Teachers of the Year for the 2022-2023 school year. Each school in the District chose a teacher from their staff that stood apart from the rest by doing an exceptional job in many facets of the school's educational activities.

Chelsea Shealy - Teacher of the Year at B-L Primary School



Meredith Green - Teacher of the Year at B-L Elementary School



Jacob Prahst - Teacher of the Year at B-L Middle School



Donielle Hartley - Teacher of the Year at B-L High School


The four winners were surprised with the good news on Tuesday, May 24th by Superintendent Dr. Ashley Atkinson, Chief Academic Officer Angie Rye, and their school administration team. Teachers of the Year are determined by staff members, with the four finalists going on to compete in the Lexington County School District Three Teacher of the Year competition held annually each Fall.
