Lexington investigators looking into woman's death

Lexington, SC 12/06/2020 - Chief Terrence Green of the Lexington Police Department said Sunday afternoon that detectives have begun a death investigation with the assistance of the Lexington County Coroner’s Office.

At approximately 1:30 p.m., officers were dispatched to a call of a suicide that occurred inside a residence on Ivy Hill Court within the Westbrook neighborhood.

Upon arrival, officers found a woman, age 36, who was deceased.

This investigation is ongoing and more information may be released at a later time.
