Lexington Medical Center Welcomes Sallie C. Giblin, MD and Nicholas Lytle, MD, MBA.

West Columbia, S.C. 09/20/2021 Lexington Medical Center is pleased to welcome Sallie C. Giblin, MD, and Nicholas Lytle, MD, MBA, to Lexington Rheumatology, a Lexington Medical Center physician practice. They join the board-certified physicians and skilled staff at Lexington Rheumatology to provide convenient, comprehensive care to patients.


Dedicated to diagnosing and treating diseases of the joints and soft tissues, the practice offers a variety of in-house services, such as X-ray, on- site bone density scans and infusion treatments, for rheumatic and inflammatory disorders.

Dr. Giblin graduated cum laude with her bachelor’s degree in biology from the College of Charleston in Charleston, South Carolina, and earned her medical degree from the American University of the Caribbean in Cupecoy, St. Maarten. She then completed an internal medicine residency at Louisiana State University Health in Baton Rouge.


Board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Dr. Giblin most recently completed a rheumatology fellowship at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson. She gained extensive experience in the diagnosis and management of rheumatic and inflammatory diseases, including training for rheumatology infusion and bone mineral densitometry.


Dr. Lytle graduated with his bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Vanderbilt University in Nashville and earned his master’s degree in healthcare management at Widener University in Chester, Pennsylvania. He then graduated with his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia and completed an internal medicine residency at the University of Tennessee – Saint Thomas Midtown in Nashville, serving as chief resident.


Dr. Lytle most recently completed a rheumatology fellowship at Oklahoma University in Oklahoma City, gaining extensive experience in caring for rheumatic disease emergencies and complicated rheumatic diseases, as well as the diagnosis and management of all rheumatic and inflammatory diseases. He is also a member of the American College of Physicians.
