Swansea, SC 03/25/2021 - Lexington Medical Center will host a COVID-19 vaccination clinic at Swansea High School on Saturday, March 27, 2021 for individuals eligible to receive the vaccine in South Carolina. The vaccinations will take place from 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Appointments are required.
South Carolina is now vaccinating individuals in groups 1A and 1B. For a full list of who is eligible to receive a vaccine, go to https://scdhec.gov/covid19/covid-19-vaccine.

Individuals in Group 1A and 1B who do not have access to a computer or the internet can call (803) 739 – 3363 Monday - Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. A Lexington Medical Center representative will assist them with scheduling an appointment.
The vaccinations given on Saturday will be the first dose of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine. Lexington Medical Center will return to Swansea High School on Saturday, April 17, 2021 to administer second doses. Participants in this Saturday’s clinic will receive an appointment time for a second dose during their visit. Interpreters will be on site at the clinic to assist members of the Spanish-speaking community.

Swansea High School is located at 500 East 1st Street in Swansea. Vaccinations will take place in the school’s gymnasium.

Upon arriving for a vaccine appointment, individuals will need to present a driver’s license or identification card. All people receiving a vaccine must qualify under the current guidelines outlined by the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control.
To date, Lexington Medical Center has administered more than 50,000 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine.
