Lexington native named SC State director of treasury management

Columbia, SC (04/12/2022) - South Carolina Treasurer Curtis Loftis recently announced that Perry Breazeale has joined the agency as the Director of Treasury Management.


During his career, Perry has served in several financial leadership roles in the healthcare industry. He most recently serving as Vice President of Finance for Gundersen Health System in La Crosse, Wisconsin. He also has six years of experience in corporate accounting and auditing.

“We are pleased to have Perry join our team at the Treasurer’s Office to manage our agency’s treasury management operations. He brings a wealth of financial and administrative experience that will benefit us as we continue to manage, invest and retain custody of nearly $60 billion in public funds,” Treasurer Loftis said.


A native of Lexington, SC, Perry attended the University of South Carolina where he earned both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in accounting. He has previously served as treasurer for the Ronald McDonald House in Columbia and as a former board member for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
