Lexington, SC 08/15/2023 - The Lexington One Educational Foundation recently welcomed four new members to its Board of Directors: Katy Handell, Brandi Snyder Keefer, Michelle White and Bridget Winston.
Katherine “Katy” Handell is a Preschool Special Education Teacher with Lake Murray Elementary School and the 2023-24 Lexington District One Teacher of the Year.
Brandi Snyder Keefer is the Senior Treasury Management Sales Officer in Treasury & Payment Solutions - Government Banking for Synovus.
Michelle McLaughlin White is the Vice President, Colonial Life Marketing.
Bridget Winston is the Director of Communications for Trinity Episcopal Cathedral.
Each board member will serve a three-year term with the exception of the Lexington District One Teacher of the Year, who serves for one year. Board members are instrumental in leading the Educational Foundation’s charitable endeavors to serve and support Lexington County School District One.
“We are delighted to welcome each of these individuals to the Lexington One Educational Foundation’s Board of Directors,” said Foundation Executive Director Julie Anderson Washburn. “Each of these women brings a different perspective and talent to our board, yet all have a shared interest as they are committed and enthusiastic parents of Lexington County School District One students.”
Foundation Board of Directors Chair Lisa McMeekin Phillips shared, “We are excited and thankful to have these community leaders join our board to lead our efforts. Each member will donate her personal time and talents to help advance the Educational Foundation’s mission of supporting education and students in Lexington County School District One.”
