Lexington PD needs help to identify woman who allegedly tried to defraud credit union

Lexington, SC 04/01/2024 - The Lexington Police Department needs to identify the pictured individual who allegedly attempted to pass two fraudulent checks at State Credit Union at 4458 Sunset Boulevard on March 21, 2024.



During each attempt, bank staff did not cash the checks as they believed them to be fraudulent. The individual wore a different wig, presented different North Carolina drivers licenses, and was driving a different vehicle during each attempt. The amounts of the checks that were attempted to be cashed were $2,500 and $2,400.
