Lexington, SC 02/15/2023 (Paul Kirby) - The Lexington Police Department is asking the public for help identifying two individuals who they believe did some late Christmas shopping on Christmas Eve and then strolled off without paying. That’s so sad considering that all the honest folks who shop at this home improvement retailer pays that loss as a part of the price of everything they buy throughout the year. Police say they believe these two Grinches took over $1,700 worth of merchandise from the Home Depot on December 24, 2022.

The do know that the shoplifters arrived and left together in a small white vehicle. Its make and model are unknown, and no one caught a tag number.

If you have information about who these two are or know anything this case, please contact CrimeStoppers via their P-3 mobile app or their website at midlandscrimestoppers.com. You can also contact the lead investigator Detective Heath at 803-951-4642 or by email at kheath@lexsc.com.
