Lexington PD trying to find suspects who stole credit cards and used them at Walmart

Lexington, SC 06/02/2022 (Paul Kirby) - The Lexington Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identify two individuals they suspect stole credit cards from several parked vehicles. The theft occurred at the Lexington Square on Sunset Boulevard on May 26, 2022.

Later, the credit cards were used at Walmart in West Columbia to purchase items. After the thieves paid with the stolen cards, they left the store in a white SUV. Video surveillance from the store captured the crooks however, like many of the other instances in the recent past, the pair were wearing clothes and face coverings that were not only unseasonable, but downright hot for late May in South Carolina. This did a good job of obscuring their identities.

If you recognize the pair or their car, please contact Detective Payton at 803-358-7271 or email bpayton@lexsc.com.
