Lexington, SC - 04/27/2021 (Paul Kirby) – Lexington police officers are turning to the public for their assistance in catching a shoplifter who stole from the Hobby Lobby in town. This occurred on April 10, 2021. Police have not said what the suspect took or how much it was worth however, they do have some good photos of the person.

It's hard to tell from the photos if the suspect is a man or a slender woman. Their face is covered by a mask but the individual was wearing camo pants and a black or dark green t-shirt. At one point, the suspect was wearing a cap but, in another photo, the hat was missing. The suspect also had their hair in a bun on the back of their head. Note the distinctive tattoos on the arms. One appears to be thin line drawings and may not have been professionally done.

Please look at the suspect closely. If you have information about this case, please contact Detective Payton at 803-358-7271 or by emailing bpayton@lexsc.com.
