Lexington teens among local dancers who earn top placements at US National Irish Dance Championship

Lexington, SC 07/17/2021 (Paul Kirby) - Local dancers from Connick School of Irish Dance, with locations in both North and South Carolina, competed recently at US National Irish Dance Championship. They brought home many top honors for their Lexington studios!
Six local dancers from the Lexington Studio traveled to Phoenix, Arizona to compete at the U.S. National Irish Dance Championship. They accompanied 22 other dancers from the Connick School's North Carolina studio locations. When they returned, many had a earned a number of honors for their efforts. They were:
Madighan McMaster, a recent graduate of Blythewood High School, earned a 1st place finish in her preliminary championship competition!
Carolina and Aurora Murray, students at Lexington Middle School, both earned 4th place in their open championship competitions!
Cassidy McGee of Chapin, Grace Condon of Columbia, and Madison Brooks of Newberry represented the 18 and over age groups earning top placements for the Southeast!
Connick School of Irish Dance recently opened a studio at 428 South Lake Dr. in Lexington, and they are enrolling students of all ages! Have you ever wanted to learn a jig? If so, they invite you to come out and try a free trial class!
