Lexington Three prepping for severe weather Thursday

Batesburg-Leesville, SC 03/17/2021 - Due to the forecasted severe weather that is expected to impact most of South Carolina, Lexington County School District Three has decided to make Thursday, March 18th an E-Learning Day for all students and staff. This means that students and staff will complete all learning and work activities from home.

Students and teachers will NOT participate in live lessons on Thursday, March 18th due to the fact that widespread power and Internet outages could be possible. Instead, teachers will have E-Lessons for students loaded into Google Classroom, their learning dashboard, prior to students leaving the school building on Wednesday, March 17th. If students do not have the Internet, they can still complete the E-Lesson(s) and upload/sync their work when they return to school. Please note that 4K students will receive paper packets and necessary resources to complete their work at home.

Please note that all afterschool/evening activities that were scheduled for Thursday, March 18th are also cancelled, including sports practices and games, meetings, and adult education classes.

As always, the safety of our students and staff members is the top priority of administrators in Lexington County School District Three. We appreciate our Panther families being flexible. Anyone with additional questions can contact the Lexington Three District Office.
