West Columbia, SC - Lexington County area veterans are invited to a series of recognition events at Lexington Two schools to mark Veterans Day.
Events include performances in orchestra, strings and chorus, among other activities.

November 8
Fulmer Middle School: Veterans Day Celebration, with donuts and coffee, as well as special presentations from chorus, band, strings and art students. 9:30 a.m. in the gymnasium.
November 9
Riverbank Elementary School: Veterans Day Celebration, featuring choral performances and speakers. 8:30 a.m. - 9:30 a.m. in the cafeteria.
November 10
Busbee Creative Arts Academy: Veterans Day Program, 9 a.m.
Cayce Elementary School: Veterans Day Parade. 8:15 a.m., around the school halls.
Congaree Elementary School: Breakfast at 8 a.m. Later that morning, at 9:30 a.m., the annual Veterans Day program will be held in the cafeteria. Among highlights, the Airport High School band will perform.
Northside Middle School: Those who are serving or who have served our country are invited to breakfast. 8:30 a.m. in the media center.
Saluda River Academy for the Arts: Drive-thru celebration of veterans. 1:45 p.m. outside the school.
Springdale Elementary School: Veterans Parade. 1 p.m. on the playground.
Wood Elementary School: Veterans Day Breakfast, 7:30 a.m.-8 a.m., followed by a short program and parade.
