West Columbia, SC 01/26/2021 - Thirteen Lexington Two middle school students have been named South Carolina Junior Scholars.
The program, developed by the state Department of Education, identifies eighth-graders with high scholastic achievement and intellectual ability through testing and other criteria, offering summer opportunities through South Carolina colleges and universities, according to the department website.

Those named Junior Scholars in Lexington Two include Jordyn Boulet, Kayla Ezzelle and Caden Morse, Busbee Creative Arts Academy; Ava Harman, Cindy Nguyen, Joshua Nix and Abbie Roley, Fulmer Middle School; Haley Cassidy, Rishi Patel, Ethan R. Smith and Anna Snyder, Northside Middle School; and William Barrs and Cooper Langford, Pine Ridge Middle School.
