Lexington VFW Post to hold an event that will help area veterans understand the programs and services provided by the VFW

Lexington, SC 02/05/2025 (Paul Kirby) – Lexington VFW Post 8738 will host an event on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, that will answer any questions regarding VFW programs, membership, and how the organization is helping South Carolina’s veterans. It will be held at Post 8738’s building that is located at 424 Cedarcrest Drive in Lexington, SC from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m.

Post 8738’s Commander and National Veterans and Military Support Program Chairman Darren Wiseman, VFW Department of SC Membership Chairman Mary Azbell, and VFW Membership Eligibility Coordinator Ed Stefanak will be in attendance to help meet the goals of the gathering.

In addition to the goals already detailed, those who attend will enjoy an evening of camaraderie and fun while getting an up-close look at driver Ryan Roulette’s VFW Maple Motorsports #67 Ford Mustang which will be on display ahead of the NASCAR Arca Menards Series at Daytona.

All area VFW members and prospective members are invited and urged to attend this evening of fun and learning. There is no cost associated with attending this gathering. The post’s canteen will be open and selling hot dogs, chips, and drinks for a small fee.
