The Great American Cleanup® is a series of events promoted by Keep America Beautiful (KAB) that brings litter cleanup coordinators together across the nation to plan events between March 19 and June 20, 2024. This is the 26th year KAB has promoted the nation’s largest community improvement program, which has created positive change and lasting impact in local communities across the nation.

Litter Free Lexington County SC, is an initiative that began in 2022, hosted by the County of Lexington’s Department of Solid Waste Management that aims to connect volunteers interested in helping cleanup litter in the county to those who work with litter management on a daily basis. The program hopes to provide resources for municipalities and a network for local volunteers to get involved in their neighborhoods throughout the county.
