Local martial arts studio preparing for April competition in Irmo

Edmund, SC 03/29/2022 (Paul Kirby) - Master Randy Perry of the Southern Dragon Hapkido/Taekwondo school is preparing 19 of his students to an important qualifier tournament in Irmo. The South Carolina AAU Taekwondo Qualifier Tournament is to be held on April 16th , 2022, in Irmo, SC.

The Southern Dragon School is located on Edmund Highway near its intersection with Crystal Springs Drive. Classes are held Monday through Friday. The children’s and beginner courses begin at 4 p.m., higher proficiency belt holders and some teens have classes at 5 p.m., and adult classes begin at 6:30 p.m. Master Perry provides 1 month free for all students who have an interest in martial arts.
