Lexington, SC - Mission Lexington took the opportunity Thursday to announce their October 2020 Impact Key Players. Impact Key Players are volunteers and organizations that have greatly helped Mission Lexington achieve its goal of assisting those in need in many ways throughout the community during the year.
The following are October’s Church, Board Member, and Volunteer of the Month:
• Lexington United Methodist Church has been named Mission Lexington’s Church of the Month. They lead Mission Lexington in the number of volunteers that serve us on a monthly basis and supply a steady stream of donations for the food pantry.
• Will Cheatham is the Board Member of the Month. He is a vice president and commercial lender at First Community Bank’s Gilbert, SC branch.
• Delores Hunter is the Volunteer of the Month. Delores normally volunteers in the food pantry, but during COVID, she has been spending time double-bagging plastic bags for the food pantry at home.
“It truly takes a village to accomplish all that we do at Mission Lexington,” said Robin W. Bowers, Executive Director of Mission Lexington. “We are so very grateful for each and every volunteer, and love to honor those who serve alongside our staff.”
