Mission Lexington reopens after short shutdown due to COVID concerns

Lexington, SC - 02/22/2021 (Paul Kirby) - Mission Lexington announced over the weekend that its re-opening today Monday, February 22nd. The following business hours will be observed:

Food Pantry & Donation Center:

Monday - Friday 10:00am - 12:45pm

Thrift Store:

Monday - Saturday 9:00am - 1:00pm

(Doors close at 12:45 pm to new shoppers.)

All Social Service requests can be addressed by emailing them at ss@missionlexingtonsc.org (for quickest response) or by phone at 803.957.6656.

In their statement announcing the reopening, the staff of Mission Lexington said, "We appreciate your prayers and support as we have worked to maintain the safety of our clients, volunteers and staff during this time." They closed after one of the volunteers or staff members that regularly work with the program tested positive for COVID-19. All employees were retested prior to their reopening today.
