Lexington, SC 04/08/2026 - Mission Lexington is proud to announce strong early momentum for its Mission on the Move capital campaign, an initiative designed to expand capacity and ensure the organization can serve neighbors in crisis for the next 50 years and beyond. Just months into the campaign, Mission Lexington has already seen encouraging support from the community, led by a leadership gift from Southeastern Freight Lines.

Over the past year alone, Mission Lexington distributed more than $2.5 million in food and provided $384,000 in essential resources to families facing crisis. In total, the organization met over 68,000 needs across Lexington County by providing food, necessities, and vital social services. As the county continues to grow, so does the demand for assistance.

“Demand is simply surpassing the capacity of our current facility,” said Amy Reeves, CEO of Mission Lexington. “The commitment of businesses, churches, foundations and individuals stepping forward will represent an investment not just in a building, but in the future of our community. This campaign will leave a legacy for Mission Lexington and for Lexington County residents for decades to come.”

Southeastern Freight Lines prioritizes servant leadership and meaningful community impact, making their early investment a powerful catalyst for the campaign.

As Mission Lexington looks ahead, Mission on the Move represents more than expansion, it is a commitment to ensuring that neighbors in crisis will continue to find help, hope, and dignity for generations. Community giving through this campaign marks a pivotal step toward a stronger, more compassionate future for individuals and families across Lexington County and the greater Midlands.
