National fishing show filmed on Lake Murray airs next week

Lake Murray, SC 01/05/2024 - Last September, Capital City/Lake Murray Country hosted the Fishing University/University of Fishing National TV show on Lake Murray. BASS pro-Bryan New (of Saluda) and Spro's Jordan Albertson (Georgia) joined hosts, Legendary angler Charlie Ingram & co-host Ben Ballou for the fishing trip of a lifetime on the Jewel of South Carolina.

Fishing University began 38 years ago, with the goal of teaching the world to fish. The show is aired to millions throughout all 50 states and 51 countries around the world. Through its innovative platform that features both pros and company owners pitted against each other while showcasing both new and time-tested products, viewers get to learn insider tips and techniques that will make them better anglers in any body of water around the world.

The “Lake Murray largemouth beatdown” episode will begin airing the week of January 8, on CBS Sports, The Outdoor Channel, and World Fishing Network. (All times are EST)
