Lexington, SC 04/11/2022 (Paul Kirby) – One man has died after crashing his motorcycle in the 100 block of Beechwoods Drive near Lexington Sunday evening. Callers began dialing 911 shortly before 6:30 p.m. to report the crash.
According to Lexington Coroner Margaret Fisher, Jonathan Wayne Quesinberry Sr., 54, of Lexington, was operating the motorcycle without a helmet when the collision occurred. He was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead from his injuries on Monday.
According to Lance Corporal Tyler Tidwell of the SC Highway Patrol, the Quesinberry was travelling north on Beechwoods when he lost control of the bike and was ejected. He was transported to the Trauma Center at Prisma Health's Richland Campus where he was pronounced dead today.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating this incident.
