Pelion, SC – 03/01/2021 (Paul Kirby) – The Pelion Elementary School’s Archery Team is currently the #1 ranked Elementary Archery Team in the state of South Carolina. They are also ranked as #10 in the nation.
Coach Colby Coulter has had these 4th and 5th graders practicing in the school’s cafeteria because of the COVID-19 pandemic. They are dedicated and eagle-eyed archers who put in the necessary work to be the best.
One parent said recently, “We’re just really proud of these kids. They work very hard and this sport just doesn’t draw the attention of many of the others. They all deserve a big pat on the back for what they have accomplished!”
