Pelion, SC 05/13/2024 (Paul Kirby) – Recently, Ashton Fallaw of Pelion, signed to play baseball at Columbia International University (CIU) located in north Columbia, SC. He has played the position of catcher for Pelion High School’s Varsity Team for the past 5 years.
Ashton is the son of Crystal Hansen and London Fallaw. He started playing recreational baseball for Lexington in 2014 and started catching in 2015.
Over the years, Ashton has played on Allstar teams and on several travel ball teams. He has even travelled to and played at the World Series.
Ashton is an honor roll student who plans to study business at CIU. After college, he hopes to put his degree to work by opening his own garage. He already enjoys working on vehicles and feels like the business degree will just help his business to be more successful.
Working on vehicles is a hobby of his so he already has a head start on his after-college business since one of his hobbies is what he plans to do for a living. He also enjoys hunting, and a young man that has so much going for him will probably be able to find a way to make some money doing that as well.
