South Congaree, SC 02/01/2022 (Paul Kirby) - Pastor Todd Smith, the pastor of Christian Fellowship Church and renowned leader of the North Georgia Revival, will finish out a Holy Ghost Revival and baptismal service at True Life Assembly just outside the Town of South Congaree tonight. His first service here was held last night at 7 p.m. at the small church which is located at 4731 Edmund Highway, West Columbia, SC.
According to the website kingdomready.tv, Pastors Todd and his wife Karen have served as the senior pastors of Christ Fellowship Church in Dawsonville, Georgia for nine years. Overall, he has served in in some pastoral roles for over 25 years. During that period, Pastor Todd has preached the Gospel, led crusades, traveled to the missions’ fields, and participated in pastors’ conferences in over 25 countries around the world. Additionally, the Smiths host the Outpouring of Revival Fire at the North Georgia Revival that began on February 11, 2018 and has run continuously since.
Pastor Todd story is an interesting one. He was serving as a Southern Baptist Minister and had grown disenfranchised with the doctrine and ways of that church. At one point, he had a Holy Ghost encounter and a vision of the church’s baptismal pool covered in fire. From that encounter with the Holy Spirit, he foresaw a coming revival that would be marked by water baptism and the fire of God.
As he began to follow God’s word delivered through the Holy Spirit and hold these baptisms, he parted ways with the Baptist Church and he and Karen began Christ Fellowship Church. As he began to follow God’s leading and baptized more in the name of God, the Holy Spirit took over and the North Georgia Revival was born.
Since that beginning, thousands have been baptized and many miracles of God’s healing powers have been witnessed. Through faith and the cleansing powers of the water, the lame has again walked, cancer has been cured, the deaf have been made to hear, and more modern miracles have occurred. Now as he travels and preaches, he carries three simple troughs and baptizes people wherever he finds a group willing to listen and learn about the great healing powers of God.
According to the leadership of True-Life Fellowship outside of South Congaree, during the Monday night revival, the Holy Spirit really showed off as many people met him in the water! Those who attend tonight’s service can expect to see more miracles, great signs, wonderous healings, and deliverances from sin into eternal life.
