Lexington, SC 07/17/2025 - The Lexington Chamber & Visitors Center reports that the highly anticipated Dining on the Dam will return on Sunday, September 21, 2025. Presented by Palmetto Renovations, this one-of-a-kind event brings together the best of Lexington and Richland Counties for a night of community connections and extraordinary experiences, according to Chamber CEO Angelle LaBorde.
“Unfortunately, inclement weather led to the postponement of the April 6th event,” she said. “The Chamber is excited to welcome guests back to one of the Midlands’ most anticipated events.”
Set against the breathtaking backdrop of Lake Murray, Dining on the Dam annually attracts over 1,000 guests from across the region and promises to deliver the best sunset in South Carolina. Guests will experience a trulyunique evening while indulging in signature cuisine from Southern Way Catering. Live entertainment will also be provided by the high-energy The Big Time Band, whose diverse sound and infectious energy will keep everyone on their feet and dancing into the night.
“I’ve had the pleasure of attending Dining on the Dam previously, and each time, I’ve been amazed by the incredible atmosphere, the breathtaking views, and the sense of community that fills the event,” said Matthew Graham, President/Owner of Palmetto Renovations, a full-service remodeling company headquartered in downtown Lexington. “Our company is thrilled to serve as the presenting sponsor this year to support the Lexington Chamber and its various initiatives and programs that benefit the business community."
Tickets purchased for the original April date will be honored for the rescheduled September 21 event. For those who haven't secured their spot, tickets can be purchased at diningonthedamsc.com and will go on sale Thursday, July 17 at noon.
“We deeply appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding as we worked to reschedule Dining on the Dam,” said LaBorde. “We are incredibly excited to host this popular gathering in the Fall. I believe it’s more than just an evening out – it’s an opportunity to create lasting memories, connect with others, and be a part of an unforgettable experience atop the scenic Lake Murray Dam!”
