S.C. National Guard and SC Works holding Veterans’ Services and Member & Family Care Job Fair

West Columbia, SC 02/28/2022 (Paul Kirby) – The S.C. National Guard Veteran's Services, the S.C. National Guard Members & Family Care, and S.C. Works through the Department of Employment and Workforce Development (dew) are coming together to have a Job Fair and hiring event tomorrow, March 1, 2022, at the Springdale National Guard Armory. The event is scheduled to begin at 10:00 a.m. and will conclude at 1:00 p.m. tomorrow afternoon. This event requires no registration and job candidates should bring their resumes and be dressed to impress. There may be some hiring on the spot.

There is a plethora of participating employers from a wide range of career fields. Some include Mark Anthony Brewing, 84 Lumber, Chic-Fil-A, McEntire Produce, Michelin Tire North America, CMC Metals, Starbucks, TruGreen, Riverbanks Zoo and Garden, Baker Roofing. Army Air Force Exchange, Palmetto State Armory, Pleasurecraft Engine Group, and a host of others.

Blood Connections will also be on site, and they are offering a $20.00 gift card for anyone donating blood during this event.

The Armory is located at 3528 Platt Springs Road, West Columbia just within the town limits of the Town of Springdale. Come by a check out the jobs that are out there waiting for you.
